| JOHNS, Wilbur Mark age 93 of Englewood, passed away Sunday January 31, 2010. Wilbur was preceded in death by his wife, Kathrine (Tillison) Johns. Wilbur is survived by three sons, William Mark Johns, Kenneth Edward & his wife Sandy Johns and Gary Allen & his wife Allie Johns; three grandchildren, Jason, Jacob & Mark; two great grandchildren, Spencer & Sydney; and his extended family & many good friends. Wilnur retired from General Motors with 30 years of service. During most of his working life he also drove a school bus. He served three tours of duty in the U.S. Army during WWll in Guam and was a member of the American Legion, the VFW and the Masonic Lodge # 737 in West Carrollton. The family will be receiving friends from 9:30 - 11:30 A.M., Saturday (2/6) at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton with funeral services to follow at 11:99 A.M. Interment will be at Miami Valley Memory Gardens. The family would like to thank the staff of Brookdale Place and Acclaim Hospice for the love & care they provided to Wilbur. | GRIFFIE, Michael J. age 40 of Germantown, OH passed away unexpectedly, Sunday April 4, 2010. Michael was born in Dayton, Ohio on April 1, 1970. He graduated from Valley View High School - Class of 1988. He was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church and West Carrollton Masonic Lodge # 737 F. & A.M. Michael was a former Moraine Assembly worker at General Motors and a carpenter. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Willard and Jeanne Crater and paternal grandparents, Charlie & Edith Griffie. He is survived by his parents, Clifton and Julie Griffie; 2 daughters, Morgan & Caroline of Lebanon, OH; twin brothers, C. Kelley (Karen) Griffie and Ken (Khrista) of Cupertino, Ca; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may call 5-8 P.M. Thursdau, April 8th at the Dalton Funeral Home corner of State Route 4 and Weaver Road, Germantown, where the Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday with Pastor Andrew Wagner officiating. | HILL, Byrl F. age 72 of West Carrollton, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, May 25, 2010. Born August 10, 1937 in Crossville, Tenessee and moved to Dayton with his family in 1950. He was preceded in death by his father, Elmer J. Hill. He is survived by his mother, Virginia (Jones) Hill; his loving wife of 55 years, Ruth (Henry) Hill; three daughters, Shelia Ingram and husband Barry, Tammy Hill and Robin Donahue and her husband Brian; five grandchilren, David (Heather), Lesley (Kent) Owens, John (Tiffany), Nolan and Daniel; one great granddaughter, Hannah; brother, Donald (Kathy) Hill; nephew, Randy (Shonda); neice, Anna (Jermy); and many friends. | BUNDY, Harry Eugene 80 of Dayton, pased away Sunday, September 26, 2010. Gene was born on November 13, 1929 in Columbus, Ohio. He served our country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Harry (Gene) was retired from GM as a Tool & Die Maker. He had also worked at many Tool & Die Shops and made many good friends along the way. He rode his motorcycle for funeral escorts and was an avid rider since his teen years. He was a member of the Cardinal Motorcycle Club and was a Life Member of VFW Post # 6560. He was also a member of West Carrollton Masonic Lodge No. 737, F. & A.M.. Preceded in death by his father, Harry A. Bundy; mother, Louise Bundy; brother, Glenn Nelson Bundy and his son Harry Eugene Bundy, Jr..
